Rain, Rain, Go Away and Actually, Don’t Come Back for a Few Days!!

Did You Know??? Since rain seems to be a regular event now in our fair city, I thought we should know a little more about our ‘visitor’. So here are a couple of facts you can use playing Trivia if you are rained out of your plans…

A raindrop falls at 600ft. per minute or 7 mph. A raindrop is round but appears to be oval because gravitation pulls on the front of the raindrop as it is falling.

The greatest amount of rainfall ever recorded fell in the amount of 1.5 inches per minute on November 26, 1970 in Barst, Guadeloupe located in the West Indies.

And here’s an Oldie but Goodie…and keep your eyes on the dancers!! Enjoy!!
